Who Is ?

Hi my name is Stuart Murchison and thanks for taking the time to have a look at my business.

I’ve been in the Suspension Industry in one form or another since 1998. From Sales to design, R&D, Manufacturing, 4WD trade shows the lot. I’ve always had a keen interest in Jeep though ever since my Father bought home a new ZG Laredo back in 1995/96.
I was gob smacked at its performance, I didn’t know 4WD’s could be so quick yet dominate off road at the same time!
My Father came back from a few 4WD training days which quickly escalated into weekend camping trips and the like. It was great. This one Jeep and the outdoor lifestyle experiences it bought with it was to be the start of a lifetime disease...er..passion for me and I’m greatfull for it. I guess we all chose our vice in life and I chose Jeep.

I bought my first TJ Wrangler new back in 1999, a manual Sport model with no A/C!
Yes Air Con was an option I couldn’t afford back then but hey it was a rag top right?

I was working for one of Australia’s most well known Suspension Companies at the time and it didn’t take long before I started designing coils for my TJ, prototype shocks and a few other little bits and pieces. It ended up in a few 4WD & Camping shows too. After years of wheeling it in almost every 4WD Park in South East Queensland not to mention Moreton & Fraser, I couldn’t help myself early on in 2001 and wanted to upgrade to the later spec model with a better ignition system, gearbox and most of all the Desert Sand Colour. It had a Tan Interior and Tan Soft Top, lovely combination! That TJ went much bigger and ended up on 35’s.
Having 35’s on a daily driven TJ back in 2001/2002 in Australia was a big thing, one of only a few getting around at the time. It all got a bit much and I defected to sports cars after that for a while, why? Because I left the Suspension Game for a while only to work at.....where else but a JEEP Dealership of course!! I went into Sales and lived and breathed Jeep for many years to come.

Skipping forward a few years and I now find myself heavily devoted to 2 things in life, well a few actually, my 2 beautiful daughters, a loving wife and my Jeeps.....

Long live the mighty 4WD Icon. I can’t wait to see what the future brings for Jeep...... Bring it on......

Warm regards,
  aka CRDSTU Suspension.
